CARTON FEEDERS

For some applications it is not desirable or practical to fit an online overprinter - for example, when printing needs are intermittent - in these situations an offline printer is the ideal solution. Open Date offers a choice of offline printers that vary in sophistication from fully automatic to semi-automatic feed.

The MC100 is a semi-automatic hand fed overprinting station suitable for a range of flat flexible packaging materials.

The MC810 is an automatic feeding system suitable for a wide range of flat items including paper labels, cards, sleeves cartons, crash lock cartons and skillets.

WHAT ARE CARTON FEEDERS?

Carton feeders are a form of overprinting systems for coding on to flat cartons, cards, skillets and cut labels. Open Date's machines are standalone units that can be placed virtually anywhere and operated in a solitary state off-line.

HOW DO CARTON FEEDERS WORK?

Substrates are loaded on to the machine bed and simply form fed through, like a traditional desktop inkjet printer. This is done manually by the operator (MC100) or automatically by the machine (MC810) which is a rapid process. Easy to use, set-up and operate Open Date's carton printers are a versatile piece of equipment.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Open Date's carton feeders are all portable and can be located either right next to the production line, for coding on demand, or remote from the production area for batches to be coded when required. Industry, or product wise, they are suited to anything requiring coding and marking.
